During this worldwide pandemic that keeps us all physically away from one another, the sense of belonging to a community has never been more important. Since its inception over 15 years ago, the PurseForum has been one of my proudest business endeavors. The community is a safe haven for people who love designer bags, a place for others to find friends in times of need, and a welcomed distraction to our chaotic and stressful daily lives. I’ve been on the forum since Vlad and I were just dating and starting our business, to our engagement and wedding, to our children. We’ve been part of meetups in New York City and Las Vegas, met other members all over the world, and I’ve made lifelong friends.
In a time where so many feel helpless, it is a community like the PurseForum that feels safe and familiar, where you and others can still share your passion if it allows you to get your mind off things if even for a moment, or even chat about what’s going on in the world today.
One of my favorite threads happening on PurseForum right now is the “Sheltering in Place” with Hermès. This thread is brilliant as it allows users to share their beloved bags while following orders to stay inside to help stop the spread of this pandemic. It’s lighthearted, fun, and pretty to look at. Right now, we need a bit more of this. Take a peek at some of our favorite images being shared on one of the best threads on the forum right now!
