Pumpkin Spice Latte
As soon as Fall hits, we all rush to our local coffee shops to order our favorite pumpkin spice lattes. We love them so much, we tried making it ourselves at home!
Ingredients:
3 cups 2% milk
3/4 cup canned pumpkin
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
1-1/2 cups hot brewed espresso or strong brewed dark roast coffee
Optional: Whipped cream and additional nutmeg
Instructions:
Place 6 ingredient listed above into a large saucepan. Cook and stir over low to medium heat until heated through. Then, stir in hot espresso. Pour into mug and if desired, top with whipped cream. Garnish with a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon stick.
