Chocolate Spice Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers (approximately 15 large crackers)
- 3 oz. (6 Tbsp.) melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Numi Dash of Salt Drinking Chocolate (optional)
- 1 cup milk
- 5 Tbsp. Numi Touch of Chili Drinking Chocolate
- 2 cups pumpkin puree (fresh or from can)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. ginger
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- Pinch cloves
- Raspberries for decoration
Instructions
- If you use a pre-made crust, you can skip these steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Blend together graham crackers, butter and sugar in a bowl
- Pat down in 9” greased pie pan
- Place pie crust in oven om for 8-10 minutes
- Optional: when you remove pie crust from oven, drizzle Dash of Salt Drinking Chocolate atop bottom and sides of pie crust. It will melt immediately and add a layer of chocolate.
- Pie Filling:
- Reduce oven heat to 325 degrees
- Heat milk in small saucepan
- Whisk in Touch of Chili Drinking Chocolate
- Whisk in pumpkin puree, brown sugar and cornstarch
- Turn heat off and wait for mixture to cool slightly
- Whisk in two eggs
- Turn heat on again to low/medium and continue to stir
- Whisk in in all spices and continue to stir while mixture thickens and bubbles
- Add more brown sugar and/or chocolate to your liking.
- Turn heat off and pour filling into pie crust
- Place in oven for 50 minutes or until pie sets
- Allow to cool for 1 hour before decorating and serving
- Enjoy!
