Serves: 1 loaf

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1½ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs (beaten)
  • ⅔ cup butter milk
  • ¼ cup of Numi Kick of Mocha (2 tablespoons whisked into hot water)
  • ⅔ cups mini chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup of chocolate covered espresso beans

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix together all dry ingredients.
  3. Add melted butter and sugar and mix
  4. Add eggs and mix
  5. Add butter milk and Kick of Mocha mixture
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and espresso beans
  7. Pour the batter into greased loaf pan
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean
