Why it’s the Bag of the Week: Marc Jacobs rebranding has been a bit confusing, changing his former contemporary label from Marc by Marc Jacobs now to The Marc Jacobs and housing it with Runway Marc Jacobs. The brand, and bags, have been a bit lost in this mix waiting for things to shake out, but this Kiss Lock Mini Tote is a really nice bag at a great price point. It doesn’t stand out immediately as a bag by Marc Jacobs, but in this case that’s ok. It’s compact yet big enough and offers an easy cross-body optional strap. The leather looks nice and the kiss lock closure is a sweet touch on an otherwise classic-in-appearance bag. The finished product is casual enough for daily and weekend wear while also looking polished as well, which makes for a really pretty bag priced very well.
