When I stumbled upon the Wandler Hortensia bag a couple of years ago, I immediately obsessed over it and delved into the brand to discover more of the designs. The contemporary designer bag market has been growing with a steady uptick in new brands that have infused the bag world with clean, beautiful, modern options and Wandler is one of the more recognized names now.
The Hortensia is still the most recognizable shape from the brand, but in my typical perusing for new bags I found a few others that are equally as covetable. The best part is I found a handful that are all on sale right now, and I think the bags are absolutely worth the sale price (actually I would have purchased these full price too). I don’t need a new bag right now, but let’s face it I haven’t needed a new bag in a while. But, the act of browsing bags, and finding ones that I love and then imagining what I’d wear with them, feels nostalgic in a way that I yearn for at this time.
First, I found this Mini Hortensia in a trio of tan hues that would work so well for your fall wardrobe. My hope is that come fall we are able to be out more safely, and for that, this bag would work so well to pair with everything from cream sweaters to tan trench coats. There’s also this Houndstooth version which I’m more drawn to than I imagined I would be. There’s another neutral option in a larger size which is really beautiful as well.
As for a different design, I found a handful of versions of the Wandler Ava Tote and black and white is having a big moment in the fashion world, so this design is right on trend. I like the lines on this tote on the exterior and the interior offers a trio of compartments which makes organization a breeze. The slip-tab closure offers a nice aesthetic touch and the top handle is adjustable as well.
And if you’re looking for something a little more compact, I quite like this Georgia Scarf Handle Bag. This is an interesting design that offers a removable scarf-wrapped carry handle along with a removable shoulder strap. True to the Wandler DNA, the bag is minimalist in its lines but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s quite a standout.
