What’s Cooking at 108

Food has always been a big part of the Wanderlust experience: how you nourish yourself says a lot about the how you show up in the world. Whether you grow it, purchase it, prepare it or serve it… your food choices are inextricable from your personal wellness.

This is why we’re so excited to be including breakfast and lunch in the Premium ticket for #Wanderlust108Brooklyn. After a year and a half of isolation and social distancing, the experience of eating together with your besties will nourish not just body but soul.

There are many vendors to choose from, but here’s a small sampling to get your taste buds tingling…

On the breakfast side, Avocaderia will present Chill Out avocado toast, featuring with seeded bread from Balthazar, Hass avocado mash, jalapeno citronette and a choice of soft-boiled egg, cherry tomatoes or feta. Our friends at Provenance will offer chilled cherry oats made with pistachio butter and blue pearl chia fresca. We’ll also have fresh croissants and NYC bagels, freshly-baked quiche, and other goodies from local purveyors. And of course you can charge up with fresh coffee from Brooklyn’s famed Brooklyn Roasting Company or fine full-leaf tea from Paromi.

La Cevicheria will offer their classic ceviche mixto featuring fresh fish, shrimp, and calamari marinated in lime juice and Peruvian yellow pepper sauce, and served with Peruvian corn, onions and sweet potato. Want something sweet? Wildgood will be offering free samples of their new plant-based ice cream crafted with the goodness of extra virgin olive oil, and FX Chocolate will distribute samples of their chocolate bars which include a functional dose of supplements in handcrafted vegan chocolate with zero grams of sugar.

After lunch, you’ll want to visit the (21+) Libation Garden, our take on an outdoor biergarten. We’ll be serving Kendall Jackson wines, New Belgium beer, Fruit Smash hard seltzer, and of course a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, like Greenpoint’s Mombucha and the official water of the event, Nirvana HMB. Open from 12:30pm to 5pm.
